Diverite TransPac T5000 :

The TransPac is Dive Rite’s flagship harness, originally designed by CEO Lamar Hires for his early expeditions to the remote karst regions of Japan. He needed a rugged harness system that would allow him to utilize backmounted doubles and a single tank, as well as sidemount in some of the smaller passages. The TransPac is not only an incredibly versatile diving tool, it was also designed to be comfortable enough to hike tanks through thousands of feet of dry cave passage. Dive the TransPac Harness with a single tank, backmounted doubles, sidemount, or with a rebreather by simply swapping out the wing along with some additional mounting accessories. The TransPac is compatible with any wing in the Dive Rite line. Add accessories like gear pockets, weight pockets, a line cutter, knife, or additional D-rings with ease. Available in sizes small to XXL (including Large Short and XL Short options). When diving the TransPac XT Harness with backmounted doubles, you must use the TransPac Doubles Adapter Plate. The Dive Rite Rec XT Wing is designed for divers who demand superior buoyancy control. Our innovative Gusset Control System keeps the wing streamlined when using a single tank, preventing the dreaded “taco” effect that impairs stability. With 45 pounds of lift, the Rec XT is versatile enough to handle both single and twin backmounted cylinders. Our armor-like SuperFabric® technology is durable and abrasion resistant. As a part of our modular BCD system, the Rec Wing can be matched with either a TransPac®, TransPlate, or any metal back plate and webbing harness. Comes with a 15, 22, or 27-inch LP inflator hose and a 16-inch rapid exhaust (pull-dump) or 12 or 16-inch elbow. Also available in a dual bladder version. Made in the USA.

Stabilizer Plates BC2084

TransPac Stabilizer Plates are curved to fit the spacing of double tanks, and are the only item needed to connect a TransPac harness and a wing to a set of double tanks (a hard backplate is not needed). The TransPac harness and the wing end up being sandwiched between the double tanks and the Stabilizing Plates with the Stabilizing Plates functioning like large washers. Sold as a set.
