The Weefine Smart Focus 4000v2 is an underwater lamp with a surprising number of features. For one thing, it is a powerful LED video light with a high-quality COB LED light source that produces a natural 4000 lumen beam.
The full-spectrum colour rendering mode uses the COB white light, to which a precisely controlled coloured light is added to optimise the colour spectrum – specially developed for underwater use to increase the CRI.
A new feature is the LED ‘flash’ function. The Weefine Smart Focus light can be used like an underwater flash because it produces a 5000-lumen flash from its COB LED, which is synchronised with the camera's built-in flash via a fibre optic cable. The flash is fast enough to synchronise with all cameras that have a pre-flash. In this mode, the unit can be set to provide a lower-power setting light before the flash fires. The setting light can be used to compose the lighting scene before shooting.
