Dive Computer Shearwater Peregrine White
SHEARWATER PEREGRINE
Shearwater did it again. They released a new computer, Peregrine. It is a beautifully designed wrist computer suitable for an everyday diver. It is extremely easy to use and understand for even least experienced divers. Peregrine can be used in several modes: air, nitrox up to 40%, 3 gas nitrox up to 100% O2 and gauge. It is powered by the trusted Bühlmann ZHL-C algorithm, the same one that powers all other computers from Shearwater fleet. You will be amazed by 320 x 240 QVGA screen resolution and full color LED LCD display.
It is powered by the rechargeable Li-ion battery and holds the charge for up to 30 hours on medium brightness. You will enjoy the generous logbook capacity that will allow you to store up to 200 hours worth of dives. Cold water drysuit divers will appreciate its vibration alarms. For divers looking to customize, additional straps can be purchased in Ocean Blue and White. Like all other Shearwater computers, Peregrine comes beautifully wrapped in a ballistic nylon polymer case.

IMPORTANT !!!
- Opt for Slow Charging: Whenever possible, use the slow charge option for your devices. Slow charging is gentler on the battery, extending its lifespan. If you must use rapid charging due to time constraints, ensure that you revert the charging speed back to normal afterward. This practice helps in reducing the stress on the battery cells.
- Avoid Depleting the Battery Completely: Never allow your battery to sit idle for extended periods when it is fully discharged. Batteries suffer from being fully flattened as it can lead to a deep discharge state, making it harder for them to hold a charge in the future.
- Protect from Extreme Temperatures: Keep your devices, such as computers, away from direct exposure to high temperatures. Environments like parked cars or boat cabins during a hot day can significantly increase the temperature, causing harm to the battery. Lithium batteries are particularly sensitive to extreme heat.
- Mind the Temperature Extremes: Lithium batteries have a comfort zone and do not fare well under extreme temperature conditions—either too hot or too cold. Always strive to maintain your device in environments where the temperature is controlled or within the recommended operating range.
