A new and unique feature is the LED flash function. The X-ADVENTURER RL3000 ring light can be used like an underwater “flash gun” as it produces 3000-lumen blink of light from its LED, that is synced via a fibre optic cable from the camera’s onboard flash. The light is fast enough to sync with all pre-flash type cameras. In this mode, the unit can be set to emit a lower power “modelling light” before the “flash” fires. The modelling light will enable you to compose the light scene before taking the shot. The RL3000 can replace a manual type strobe in macro and close-up photography situations.
